Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams, typically consisting of six players each, are separated by a net. The objective of the game is to send the ball over the net and into the opponent’s court in such a way that it cannot be returned. Teams score points when the opposing team fails to return the ball or commits a fault. Players use various techniques, including serves, spikes, and blocks, to control the ball and attempt to outscore their opponents. Volleyball can be played indoors on a court or outdoors on sand, often in a variant known as beach volleyball. The game emphasizes teamwork, communication, and coordination, and is governed by specific rules that dictate aspects like scoring, rotations, and player contact with the ball.
